Metocean data is only useful when the people who need it can see it, understand it and trust it. Geomarins builds and runs online data display services that put readings from buoys, current meters, tide gauges and weather stations in front of your engineers, marine coordinators and managers as the data arrives.
What the service covers
Every client gets a secure, password-protected dashboard on the Geomarins platform. It shows the latest reading from each station, a map of where the stations are, and charts that let you look back over hours, days or months. Parameters such as significant wave height, peak period, wave direction, wind speed and gust, current speed and direction, air pressure, air and water temperature are shown in clear units with the time of each reading.
We connect to the instruments you already have, whatever the link: satellite (Iridium), cellular, UHF radio, MQTT, HTTPS uploads or files from a data logger. Where you have no instruments yet, our instrumentation and deployment service can supply them.
Built for decisions, not decoration
A marine operation needs a quick answer to a simple question: is it safe to work now, and will it stay safe? The dashboard is designed around that question. Current conditions are shown at a glance, trends are easy to read, and data can be plotted side by side to compare, for example, wind against wave height. Charts can be saved as pictures for daily reports, and data can be downloaded as spreadsheets for your own analysis.

Who can see our data?
Only the people you invite. Each client account sees only its own stations, and every user signs in with their own password.
Can we download the data?
